About me
I'm Alicja Wilczek — a German attorney (Rechtsanwältin) for IT law, privacy and compliance. Since 2018 I've worked where technology and law meet.
Law as a strategic enabler of innovation — clear, actionable and forward-looking.
My path
I was admitted to the German bar in 2018 and have since completed more than 500 projects — from a short contract review to multi-year compliance programmes.
Coming from classic advisory work, my focus shifted steadily towards interim mandates and crisis management: clients didn't need memos, they needed someone working inside the team — in product reviews, sprint plannings and transformation programmes.
Today I work as an interim privacy and compliance counsel and as crisis counsel for data breaches and IT security incidents: several days a week embedded in legal, product and engineering teams, on mandates ranging from a few days to 12 months.
My philosophy
I treat law as an enabler. Teams building software, data products and AI don't need a list of prohibitions — they need workable routes to compliance.
So I stay pragmatic: clear risk assessment, documented decision, plain language. Your team should leave the conversation able to keep building.
